When she returned, there were several police cars parked in front of the house, which was cordoned off and forensic photographers were documenting evidence. She cried in the arms of the officer when he told her that Mike Dipolito was dead.
Everything started as expected. Officer Paul Sheridan comforted her as a widow and took her to the police station to help them identify the suspect.
Sheridan weighed her reaction, ushered a handcuffed Vidi Jean into the room, and said the "suspect" was seen fleeing her home. Gene, who plays an imprisoned criminal, denies knowing Daria Dipolito. She also denied knowing him.
But then the police made a startling discovery. Mike shows up at the door and tells her he knows everything.
"Mike, come here," she saidhe begged. "Come here, please come here, I didn't do anything to you.
He said she was alone. Not long after, Dalia was charged with abetting first-degree murder.
